Dont know if anyone has seen this, we just found out about it though.

My tastes don't much agree with convertibles, so I like this. Hadn't seen it yet, thanks!

Shouldn't the coupe have come first? Or does it not matter structurally.

I prefer manufacturers making coups then convertibles, Jag have done it the wrong way round this time!

I think they have had to do a lot of work to make this model, its meant to be lighter than an F-Type too!

The F-type losing traction was cool but only one wheel blew smoke, ultra gay.

Completely agree. Not only do verts suffer rigidity etc, but honestly rag tops are ugly. And hard top verts are just a whole bag of compromise with weight and storage problems.

Surprised it doesn't have a LSD, must be a base model.

I feel like they should have camouflaged the roof, we already know what the body looks like.

I don't think gay is the correct term for that, sir.

It is a bit odd why they havent..

I... I need a moment.

But I just saw the F Type for the first time last night. It was far from ugly. It was the best looking car I'd seen in a while. Rag top or not, I think it's an amazing looking car. And I'm more of a German car person.
Can't wait for the coupe version. Both cars will be amazing.

That is pretty funny!

The reason the convertible was made first, at least from what I heard, was that Jag didn't want to take a coupe and figure out how to make it more rigid, so instead they could design the roadster around its limitations from the beginning. Now, adding a roof is just icing on the cake.

Oh nice. They did what Porsche did with the Boxster and Cayman. Smart.
Except they are going to have the hard top ready way quicker than Porsche did. Porsche waited wayyy too long to release the Cayman

I definitely think it's a great looking car. I just don't like convertibles as much as I like coupes

I'm not big into verts either.
This car looks so good though that I wish I could have the coupe and vert version!
It sounded amazing too! Would be nice to put the top down and hear dat engine during a nice Sundays drive.
I agree that cloth tops can look funky with the top up. If I had this Jag vert I'd only put the top up in the garage to keep dust off the seats. I'd have it down all the time while driving.
Jag has really done well with this car. It's a rare new car that doesn't look other cars, at least to my eye. It looks like a Jag but modern and fresh.

Considering the base model is sstill $69,000 there's absolutely no excuse for Jag to put anything but a LSD in it.

Yea, but since its not a sporty model you don't need a lsd .... there is no "S" in its name.
